The Legacy Campaign
Elkhart Christian Academy has recently experienced the most significant growth in its 50-year history and is now at a crossroads of another historic moment. As a result, we have partnered with a design firm to develop a master site plan for our 62-acre property, allowing us to address our immediate and future needs alike. Our goal is to steward with excellence this storied property that God provided. This campaign provides us with the space to further our mission. It is clear that God is inviting us to take this step of obedience to serve and lead our school community.
A Word From our Superintendent
I believe that a true legacy is what others can accomplish because of the influence of a person—or a place. Elkhart Christian Academy has a rich history of impacting countless men and women, and it is exciting to reflect on the legacy the school continues to build. This is why our campaign is titled “Legacy”, because ECA has been able to equip students to be Christ-centered servants and leaders for over 50 years!
While I am appreciative of the role ECA has played in my life and in the life of many others, it is important to understand God is working in and through our ministry to do His will. As a school we have no power to accomplish anything of significance on our own. We are trusting in the Lord with all our heart and not leaning on our own understanding through this campaign process (Proverbs 3:5). This is why prayer is a vital part of the process of this campaign.
At Elkhart Christian Academy, our goal is to faithfully steward the property God has entrusted to us as we partner with Christian families. Along the way, we have experienced some of the most significant growth in the school’s history. To continue advancing our mission, we must expand classroom space, develop a Learning Resource Center, and improve the safety and accessibility of our entrances. The Legacy Campaign will make these improvements possible and provide the space our students, staff, and families need. We believe God is inviting us to take this step of obedience to serve and lead our school community. We are inviting you to consider partnering with ECA on our journey forward. Our Vision
Elkhart Christian Academy has partnered with a design firm to develop a master site plan for our 62-acre property—an exciting step that allows us to thoughtfully address both our immediate needs and our long-term vision for growth. This plan reflects our desire to steward well the remarkable property God has entrusted to us and to create spaces that will serve students, families, and our community for generations to come.
To help bring this vision to life, Elkhart Christian Academy has also partnered with DJ Construction to guide the execution and building of this plan. Their expertise and collaboration will help ensure that each phase of development is carried out with excellence and in a way that faithfully supports ECA’s mission and future growth.
After months of dreaming, planning, and praying, church and school leadership have determined the critical next steps that must be addressed…
Phase 1: Three – Year Goal: $4 Million
Learning Resource Center
New building that will be used by all students and staff as a central hub for learning. This will be the main space to support students with extra learning resources.
Classroom Expansion
Constructing new classrooms to provide more opportunities to fulfill our mission of partnering with Christian families.
Campus Infrastructure
Construction of a new entry, additional parking, and an administrative building will improve traffic flow and create a secure academic environment.
Contingency & Media
Ensure all construction and building costs are covered so that the project goes smoothly.

The Transformation
Progress is exciting and reflects God’s faithful support of our school and its mission, yet there is still important work ahead. Completing this project will allow us to expand our ability to implement best-practice instructional strategies, safely partner with more Christian families, and bring all students and staff onto one campus.
Elkhart Christian Academy is dedicated to equipping Christ-centered leaders and servants each day, and our Legacy needs go far beyond bricks and mortar. This campaign will create greater opportunities for current and future students to know and love Christ while providing our staff with the resources needed to disciple and teach students as they prepare for their next steps in life.
